HAPPY NATIONAL MAKE YOUR BED DAY!
September 11 is National Make Your Bed Day!
As Dan has discovered in his time travels, not long ago people did not sleep on beds, but on piles of leaves or mounds of feathers scavenged from birds (the ancestors of dinosaurs). Some beds were simple mats on the floor.
There were times when Dan had to sleep on the cold hard ground because leaves or mats weren’t available. Or feathers.
Making the bed is an art. Choosing the right bedspread with the right design makes your bed into a canvas of beauty.
Making the bed is a healthy habit. Completing one small task provides a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction at the start of the day.
Fluffing the pillows and straightening the sheets in the morning offers an inviting space when it’s time for sleep at night.
Celebrate National Make Your Bed Day by making your bed! Create your own unique sleep space! You will improve sleep, reduce stress, and feel productive.
Your back will thank you.
